വിശുദ്ധ അൽഫോൻസ് ലിഗോരി എഴുതിയ 'Glories of Mary' എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിലെ ചെറിയൊരു ഭാഗമാണ് 'Hail Holy queen' അഥവാ പരിശുദ്ധ രാജ്ഞി സ്വസ്തി ! അതിൻ്റെ മലയാള വിവർത്തനമാണ് " അഭയനഗരം" . ആദത്തിൻ്റെയും ഹവ്വയുടെയും അനുസരണക്കേടിന് ദൈവപുത്രനായ യേശുവിൻ്റെയും പരിശുദ്ധ കന്യാമറിയത്തിൻ്റെയും പൂർണമായ അനുസരണവും വിധേയത്വവും പരിഹാരം ചെയ്തു . ഈ ഭൂമിയിലായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ പരിശുദ്ധ മറിയം യേശുവിന് യാതൊന്നും നിരാകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല . ഇപ്പോൾ അവൾ സ്വർഗ ത്തിലായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ , അവളുടെ അപേക്ഷകളെ അവിടുത്തേക്ക് എങ്ങനെ നിരസിക്കാനാകും ?അവൾ 'അഭയനഗര' മാണ് . പാപത്തിൽ നിന്നും പിന്തിരിയാമെന്ന ആത്മാർത്ഥമായ ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ അവളിൽ അഭയം തേടുന്ന സകല പാപികൾക്കുമുള്ള അഭയനഗരം .

Refuge of Sinners is the Malayalam translation of 'Hail Holy Queen', a section from The 'Glories of Mary' written by St. Alphonsus Liguori.The disobedience of Adam and Eve was overcome through the perfect obedience and complete surrender of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the Blessed Virgin Mary. During her life on earth, Mary never refused anything that Jesus asked of her. Now that she is in heaven, how could Jesus refuse her prayers?

Mary is our Refuge. She is a safe place for all sinners who sincerely turn away from sin and seek her help with a repentant heart.
