മരണശേഷം അനുസ്മരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടത് തൻ്റെ ക്രൈസ്തവ വിശ്വാസത്തിൻ്റെ  ശക്തിയാൽ ആയിരിക്കണം എന്ന ചാർളിയുടെ വാക്കുകൾ ലോകമെങ്ങും അലയടിക്കുകയാണ്. ചാർളി പറയുന്നു. 'മറ്റുള്ളവർ നമ്മെ സ്മരിക്കുമ്പോൾ. ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ഓർക്കണം. അവിടുത്തെ സ്നേഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്ക ണം. നമ്മുടെ പേരു കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ യേശുവിനെ ഓർക്കുകയും അവിടുത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുകയും വേണം'. ലോകാവസാനംവരെയും ചാർളിയെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്നവർ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ഓർക്കും. അതുപോല നമ്മെക്കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കുന്നവരും ഈശോയെ ഓർക്കുകയും അവിടുത്തെ സ്നേഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണം എന്ന താണ് നമുക്കു മുമ്പിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ചാർളി ചലഞ്ച്.

Charlie’s words that he wants to be remembered after his death for the strength of his Christian faith have touched people around the world. Charlie says, “When people remember us, they should remember Christ. They should speak about His love. When they hear our name, they should think of Jesus and talk about him.”

Anyone who hears about Charlie is inspired to think about Jesus Christ. In the same way, those who hear about us should also be led to remember Jesus and speak about His love. This is perhaps the greatest “Charlie Challenge” before us: to live in such a way that our lives point others to Christ.
