Shudhikaranathmakkalude Vanakkamasam

ദൈവശാസ്ത്രപരമായും പാരമ്പര്യമനുസരിച്ചും മൂന്നുഘട്ടങ്ങളാണ് തിരുസഭയ്ക്കുള്ളത്. ( 1 ) ഭൂമിയിലെ തീർത്ഥാടക സഭ ( 2 ) ശുദ്ധീകരണസ്ഥ ലത്തിൽ വേദനയനുഭവിക്കുന്ന സഭ ( 3 ) സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ മകുടം ചൂടിയ സഭ . തീർത്ഥാടക സഭ ആദ്യത്തെ നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകൾ മുതല്തന്നെ ഭക്തിപൂർവ്വം മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഓർമ്മ ആചരിച്ചു പോന്നിരുന്നു. മാത്രമല്ല മരിച്ചവർ അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു മോചിതരാകാൻ വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നത് പരിശുദ്ധവും രക്ഷാകരവുമായ ഒരു വിചാരമായതുകൊണ്ട് തീർത്ഥാകസഭ അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

According to theology and tradition, the Church has three stages: (1) the pilgrim church on earth, (2) the suffering church in purgatory, and (3) the glorified church in heaven. From the early centuries, the pilgrim church has lovingly remembered the faithful who have died. It also prays for the departed because praying for their souls to be freed from sins is considered a holy and saving act.
