മനുഷ്യനു ദൈവം മനോഹരങ്ങളായ രണ്ടു ചിറകുകൾ നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട് - പ്രാർത്ഥനയും സ്നേഹവും. ഈ ചിറകുകളിലേറുമ്പോൾ ഒരുവൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ അതിരുകളെ അതിലംഘിക്കുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെയാണ് ദൈവരാജ്യാനുഭവത്തിലേക്ക് നാം പ്രവേശിക്കുക. പ്രാർത്ഥനയും സ്നേഹവും ഒന്നായി മാറുന്ന അത്യുദാത്തമായ നിലയാണ് കാൽവരിയിലെ കുരിശിൽ നാം കാണുക. അതുല്യമായ ഒരു ശൂന്യവത്കരണമായിരുന്നു അത്. ഇടുങ്ങിയതെങ്കിലും പൂർണതയെ പുൽകാൻ ഇതേയുള്ളൂ മാർഗം.

God has given every person two beautiful wings prayer and love. When we live with these, we rise above the limits of this world and begin to experience the Kingdom of God. On the Cross at Calvary, we see the highest example of prayer and love becoming one. It was a perfect act of self-giving. Though this path is narrow, it is the true way to grow in holiness and reach fullness of life.
